Storyline
Life for former United Nations investigator Gerry Lane and his family seems content. Suddenly, the world is plagued by a mysterious infection turning whole human populations into rampaging mindless zombies. After barely escaping the chaos, Lane is persuaded to go on a mission to investigate this disease. What follows is a perilous trek around the world where Lane must brave horrific dangers and long odds to find answers before human civilization falls.

A seriously good zombie movie.
The soundtrack and sound effects are badass, and the effects in general are really well made too.
As an example: watching the zombies transform are crazy scary.
The soundtrack is very John Carpenter-esque. Love it!
It's a pity the main story is something you've seen a thousand times before from Hollywood, but this one has great actors, and said effects. The plot(s) also has some unexpected twists and turns.
As for my rating. This is not the first time I've seen this movie, and I got to say it just gets better and better. This time it was really hard not to watch it, as I only had it on in the background really. The previous time I saw it I might've given it a 7, but decided an 8 is a well-earned rating.
