Captain America: Brave New World 4K 2025 Ultra HD 2160p
The fourth installment of Captain America's adventures. This time the title went from Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) to Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie).

For me, the image of Captain America is Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans. It's one of the best decisions Marvel Studios has ever made. The actor and the role were a perfect fit, but in Avengers: The Final Destination, Steve Rogers retired for a well-deserved retirement, after which they decided to give his title to Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie. Now he became the new Captain America for the Marvel Universe, but he still lacks charisma. And without it, no budget of 200 million will not insure against failure.
Sam Wilson is trying to become a real Captain America and the President of America, Thaddeus Ross, is not against helping him. The former general has become the most influential man in the country and tries to make up for old sins. With the help of Wilson Ross thinks to restore the initiative of “Avengers”, but during the meeting in the White House there is an attempt on the life of the newly elected President. Part of this may involve Sam, and so he loses Ross' trust. Next, he must find whoever is behind all of this and take him into custody.
It's also interesting that for the first time since the failed in terms of box office and reviews of the movie “The Eternals” Marvel authors decided to remember about the island, formed in the middle of the ocean after the death of the unborn deity Celestial. Scientists have discovered there a priceless metal, which all countries of the world want to possess. America is no exception and President Ross has to talk to the world community as soon as possible about the details of the future agreement on the joint development of the metal, because otherwise a global military conflict may happen.
In general, this story looks quite interesting, but it is presented frankly boring. And for this, first of all, the unimpressive protagonist is responsible. Anthony Maki was good in the second role, when he covered Steve Rogers. But when he stepped into the lead role, it's like he doesn't know what to do. Yes, he is no longer the Falcon, but Captain America, but it seems that Mackie continues to play his old character. At the same time he has a young receiver with wings, but he is also not very memorable, rather he is a statistician, who does not deserve attention.
The movie is worth watching except for the brilliant performance of Harrison Ford, who replaced William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross. It is in this movie that the former general and villain is revealed with a very strong emotional side. Ross is not afraid to question, he is at a crossroads as he wants to do good, but past mistakes weigh heavily on him. Ford gave out the strongest performance and was able to steal the movie from the main character played by Anthony Mackie.
“Captain America: Brave New World” failed to impress me. Unfortunately, no one can replace Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans in Marvel just yet. And certainly Anthony Mackie is not the best candidate for such a purpose.
