Red Scorpion 1988

Nikolai Rachenko—the pride of an elite special forces unit, a perfect killing machine in the service of the Soviet Union’s top leadership. Amid absolute secrecy, the fearless fighter is given a risky mission: to eliminate, in a distant African country, a rebel leader who has defied the communists. Nikolai isn’t one to question orders, and in the wild wastelands, among primitive tribes and bloodthirsty mercenaries, there is plenty of room for his generous spirit and powerful fists to shine—but gradually he realizes that he is a blind instrument of evil forces. After falling victim to betrayal and double-crossing, Nikolai switches sides to join his enemies, meting out justice as he sees fit, and soon his former commanders realize they have a deadly enemy on their hands.
