No pun intended - I am not sure how much this cost (a friend told me he read about 150 million dollars) .. I mean you won't be able to tell or see much of it ... and I don't mean because of sand storms.

All kidding aside and I am a fan of Anthony ... he is one of the major characters in this. And this mess seems to be based on something that really happened ... now I can't tell how close to the real thing this is. Not just because I did not do my homework (you really need to read beforehand or else you'll be lost ... in the sandstorm ... ok enough sandstorm jokes) ... but because the movie is a mess ... jumps from one thing to another, expects the viewer to just know who is who .. and why ... makes and breaks alliances in seconds (literally at times) ... and is generally quite confusing.

Trying to make sense of decisions made ... will make your head spin (don't even need a storm for that) ... I really wanted to like it more ... and I seem to be in the minority rating this as high as I did ... considering the director attached to this ... I am a bit surprised... this could have been better ... and while it may feel way too long .. it also is way too short when it comes to explaining things ... easy paycheck for Ben Kingsley though ...
