Since the events of the first film, some time passed, "The World of the Jurassic Period" has long been closed, and now it is threatened with complete destruction - a powerful volcano awakens on the island. The authorities decide that it is better not to interfere in the natural course of events and allow the remaining dinosaurs to die, but the "green" activist Clare (Bryce Dallas-Howard) is actively campaigning for their salvation and readily grasps the offer of the millionaire Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell) secretly take out of the island a few of its inhabitants. Owen (Chris Pratt) also joins the group, but Lockwood's people are playing a double game ...

"The World of the Jurassic Period" Colin Trevorow was a rare example of rebut / sequel, which was equally favorably received by both critics and spectators - the film received mostly flattering reviews and earned over 1.5 billion dollars worldwide, clearly hinting that the dinosaurs are again in a trend. The sequel comes out after three years - it seems like there is enough time to come up with something exciting, spectacular and at least relatively unexpected, but, alas, the authors only had enough to repeat the way of the original trilogy - in all senses.

Although the trailers of the film 4K devote much of the time to the adventures of heroes on the island, in fact, before the first hour expires, the action is transferred to the mainland, and then completely locked in the four walls of the gigantic estate of Lockwood, where another genetically modified meta-dinosaur - , dexterous and deadly than Indominus Rex from the first "World". By a similar principle was built and "Jurassic Park 2 4K" - perhaps the weakest in the original trilogy. And the saddest thing is that now the title "World of the Jurassic Period 2" claims for this title.

You can pretend that we love underground corridors and close cells no less than the boundless jungle, but it's hard not to notice that the script writers squeezed this story out with a whole bunch of assumptions and conventions. First, now Claire is not a "business woman" with a steel business grip, but a quivering activist, who almost sells her daughters to dinosaurs. But these are still flowers compared to how the sequel's authors got from these very dinosaurs. So, Blue (the leader of the raptors from the first picture) is now only a little more dangerous than the bull terrier - it turns out that Owen from her childhood knew that Blue is capable of empathy, stands behind her "own" mountain and almost wag his tail when he sees it. And this is after he repeatedly stressed in the first tape that the "training" of raptors is a very relative thing, and these are dangerous predators who, without batting an eyelid, will devour even their "master" if they are not in the mood, and he will turn to them backs!

The plot of the film clearly reveals a pro-Western orientation on the topic of tolerance, which makes it hard not to project events on the current topic of refugees. The film 4K in every way hints that every creature has the right to life, and does not hesitate to remind that "we are responsible for those who have tamed," but at the same time stubbornly does not notice that this approach alone leads to deaths and tragedies. It just so happened that in the context of the "World of the Jurassic period 2" only "bad people" go to the next world (those who want to earn money on dinosaurs, those who work for these businessmen, well, and any rich shah, who decided to buy a spinogry of a hand dinosaur ), but in the finale this fragile "excuse" ceases to work - and it becomes quite obvious that the main characters themselves are to blame for everything that happens to them and, unfortunately, the people around them.

And even if this global moral miscalculation of writers you somehow swallow, it is unlikely that the "World of Jurassic 2 4K" will impress you. Juan Antonio Bayon is much worse than Colin Trevorow in the first film, he feels the rhythm, keeps suspense and executes the action, the script is very clearly "downturned", and dinosaurs, whatever one may say, still look more spectacular in their natural habitat than when they roll on the elevators and rammed the walls of the prison cells.

The general dreary impression from the sequel slightly corrects the appearance of the indoraptor - another "artificial" dinosaur, which is much more intelligent than its predecessors and actively uses its forelimbs, but nothing new for the scriptwriters has come up with it - behind Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard (they, too, as interesting as in the first film), he runs about the same way that any other dinosaur would run. As for the "World of Jurassic period 2 4K" the viewer will react and, accordingly, whether the cycle will continue, it is still unclear, but in quality this is one of the most disappointing blockbusters of recent years.
