'Sneakers' is a typical example of an old picture, which, against the background of its modern new-fashioned counterparts, is a bit lost. But, at the same time, it looks easy and interesting.

You know, the idea itself reminded me of 'Escape Plan' with Sly and Schwartz. The idea is really similar. Who knows, maybe it was partially borrowed by the screenwriters of the movie with two famous retirees of the action genre. The plot tells about a team of guys who earn money by penetrating into banking and other security systems. So to speak, a test of strength. The composition is standard. There is a charming leader, strict brain operations, vision-deprived genius, master wiretap and babenka on the backing. They find themselves drawn into an adventure to steal a special device. This thing, without exaggeration, can change the course of events on Earth. It works by numerical calculation. Basically, on these threads, the plot and holds. It's typical, but smooth, let me tell you. In the absence of an abundance of fights and explosions, the dynamics is supported by fun chases and penetrations into the 'rear of the enemy'. Humor has its place. True, there is not so much of it. Nevertheless, to cheer up the viewer, this product is able to. Yes, and, boredom, it seems, do not have to. The chatter makes sense, the love line, in general, does not go out of bounds and does not slow down the screen process. And the actors, not badly work out their roles. I can not say that the game at the height, but the movie is not for the conquest of acting peaks. Even Robert Redford, not a bad actor, here, does not stand out much from the cast. Each, given their proper place and time in the adventure. Therefore, each of the actors, and memorable.
