I decided to continue the established tradition—one comment per year on this remarkable film. There is really nothing to say about Chaplin—a great man, a great director, and simply a magnificent actor. And what about his facial expressions!
His eyes alone are more captivating than Kate Winslet's ten-minute sobbing scene in Titanic, and the bun dance scene alone is funnier than all the American Pie movies put together.
Chaplin is a legend whose films still evoke a storm of emotions even 81 years later.
