But when Miranda puts out an ad for a nanny, he takes it upon himself to make a disguise as a British lady named Mrs. Doubtfire. And he must also deal with Miranda's new boyfriend, Stu Dunemyer.

No matter how many times I rewatch this comedy, I just roll on the floor laughing. Of course, the idea of a man dressing up as a woman wasn’t exactly new even back then, but *Mrs. Doubtfire* is a special, one-of-a-kind film that lifts the spirits of millions of movie buffs and casual viewers alike.
This film offers a remarkable blend of comedy and drama. I’m amazed at how the main character manages to live essentially two lives—and manages to be both a man and a “woman.” Moreover, his transformation into a “woman” for the sake of his beloved children inspires respect and pride in those fathers who are willing to go to desperate lengths for their children.
The film’s climax is magnificent! The restaurant scene alone deserves a perfect 10, and the movie is packed with hilarious moments. After seeing this movie, Robin Williams joined the list of my favorite actors, and I’ve rewatched practically every movie he’s been in. He excels at dramatic roles, but Mrs. Doubtfire is, perhaps, the funniest and most beloved character of all.
