Legendary BBC documentary series about the nature of the Earth. 11 episodes, filmed in Ultra HD, show unique footage of wildlife: jungles, oceans, mountains, deserts and other ecosystems. The best picture and sound quality, revolutionary filming techniques. Full lossless version in Blu-ray Remux.

Ep.1 From Pole to Pole
One hundred years ago the population of the Earth was 1.5 billion people, and today there are more than 6 billion of us on the fragile planet. And yet, there are still places on Earth where no man has ever set foot. In this series you will see the last untouched corners of the wilderness as you have never seen them before.

Ep.2 Mountains
People climb the highest peaks of the planet at their own risk. Some people think that by climbing a big mountain they are conquering it. But really, we're just guests here. It is a cold, alien to us world of unearthly beauty ...

Ep.3 Fresh Water
Fresh water makes up only 3% of our planet's total water supply, but these invaluable sources of fresh water hold many surprises. All life on Earth ultimately depends on fresh water.

Ep.4 Caves
This is one of the most unexplored frontiers of our planet. A mysterious world that only the bravest of the brave dare to look into. A world in which under our feet for many kilometers stretch labyrinths of caves and tunnels.

Ep.5 Deserts
Deserts occupy one third of the Earth's land surface. Huge scars on the face of the planet seem lifeless. But, strangely enough, it is not. In all deserts there has always been and continues to be life.

Ep.6 Ice Worlds
Both poles of our planet are covered with ice. They are the most vast and harshest deserts in the world. Nowhere else in the world do the seasons change as dramatically as here. Every year the ice advances and retreats. All life at the poles depends on it:

Ep.7 Great Plains
Vast, treeless plains, vast expanses, silence: But the feeling of emptiness is an illusion. Our planet's plains provide food for the largest assemblages of animals on Earth.

Ep.8 Jungles
This is the greenhouse of our planet. Moist tropical forests cover only 3% of the land surface, yet they are home to more than half of the planet's species. How do such an unprecedented variety of plants and animals live here?

Ep.9 Shallow Seas
The continents of our planet are surrounded by shallow seas. They are rarely more than 200 meters deep because they are located on continental shelves, and the shelves sometimes extend hundreds of kilometers into the dark depths. Shallow seas make up only 8% of the surface of the world's oceans, but they are home to the vast majority of marine animals.

Ep.10 Seasonal Forests
Trees are undoubtedly the most majestic of all living things. Some of them are the largest living organisms on Earth and they are the tallest trees in the world. Deciduous and coniferous trees growing in seasonal areas of our planet form the most extensive forests on Earth. Their size is staggering.

Ep.11 Ocean Deep
The world beyond land. Ocean. It covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface, and most of it is out of our reach. The life of the inhabitants of the ocean depths passes in a constant search for food and in the struggle for survival.
