Ms .45 4K 1981 Ultra HD 2160p
An inconspicuous and mute (which already says a lot) girl named Tana is raped twice in one day—she kills and dismembers the second man, a robber who waits for her in her apartment. Taking his .45 caliber pistol, Tana goes out onto the streets of New York in revealing outfits and begins to take revenge on men.

Abel Ferrara's first major success will be remembered by me for just one visual solution, but what a solution it is. The provocatively made-up 19-year-old Zoe Land changes into a nun's habit. The camera focuses on her lips. Immediately after that, we see her stockings and a gun in a holster at her hip. There is no doubt who inspired the creators of Machete and Sin City. This is not surprising, because today, despite their blatant depravity (which is a real insult to religion), similar images have become almost part of mass culture. For example, how many films have you seen with sexy nuns carrying guns? Well, Ferrara was the pioneer of this visual mystery. Such were the Catholic images that Abel saw.
The film itself is quite simple and trivial. A mute girl, who is sexually assaulted twice in one day, is driven by fate to take up a gun and defend her life. But revenge is a slippery slope, especially when done in the heat of the moment. The path from victim to aggressor is very short.
It's surprising that this film wasn't supported by Soviet distributors. It would have been difficult to find better anti-advertising for the American system that year. I am referring primarily to the deserted, dirty alleys where any ugly man can drag a beautiful girl in broad daylight. Such a film just needed a little help—to spark a broad public discussion, to win a prize at the Moscow Film Festival, to invite Ferrara... It would have been difficult to come up with a more frightening picture for potential emigrants.
