The Asphalt Jungle 1950

Famous safecracker Doc Riedenschneider is released from prison with a brilliant plan for a multimillion-dollar burglary already in place. He assembles a team of professionals and plans to sell the stolen goods through the burly fence Emmerich. He successfully juggles his criminal activities with seducing his young mistress—who expects far too much from him. For everyone in the crew, this heist was supposed to be the turning point that would usher in a new, sweet life. At first, everything goes like clockwork, but a tragic turn of events forces the gangsters to fight not for money, but for their lives.
