He has no close relatives outside the prison walls. Everything changes when Luciano, the leader of a powerful Corsican gang, decides to entrust Malik with a series of dangerous and risky missions—missions that, under pressure from the Corsicans, could break anyone but him. Each mission toughens Malick up. He quickly learns to navigate this new world. He earns the trust of both the Corsicans and the Muslims. And soon he begins to hatch his own daring plans.
