The golden rule of any good movie is that “something must always be happening on screen.” After all, it only takes about 20 seconds for the average viewer to change the channel. In my case, though, things were a little different. I watched the first 15 minutes of the movie only because there was nothing else on. Just some dialogue about life and police work, no hint of action, etc. But after that, everything changed completely. The movie drew me in so much that my overall impression of it was entirely positive.
At first glance, the plot is simple and not particularly original. I think everyone remembers how many movies have been made about crime and two good cops.
But the filmmakers really outdid themselves here, adding traits to each character that set them apart from other films. All the characters turned out to be truly interesting, and most importantly—they evoke emotions (though this is largely thanks to the truly talented actors). I consider this a huge plus for any movie.
This film combines the very best elements of genres such as drama, thriller, and, of course, action. If you’re interested in even one of these genres, you can watch the film with a clear conscience—both as part of your favorite genre and to enjoy new plot twists.
Conclusion: I recommend this movie to everyone—from action fans to lovers of dramas, thrillers, and so on. The only important condition is that viewers don’t accidentally change the channel after being put off by the rather mediocre and sluggish opening.
