User Review
Carrax emulates Matisse. There are no shades in the film, only bright primary colors: red, blue, green, and yellow. This might seem like showboating if it didn’t look so natural. But really, are there really that many muted colors and shades in our lives? No, they’re only in the movies, while the real world has plunged into the vivid realm of postmodern grotesque. And “Bad Blood” is precisely about that—about how there are no longer any boundaries between reason and emotion. It’s about how a leek and an apple are one and the same—or want to appear to be one and the same—or it doesn’t even matter what they are; the main thing is that they exist. All these quirks aren’t just some sick fantasy. This is, probably, our life. And there’s only one disease that truly destroys the people of our era—the inability to love.
