Don't LikeA playwright, dissatisfied with his life, falls in love with a portrait of an actress who died before he was even born. He embarks on a journey through time and meets her face to face. A gentle, somewhat old-fashioned film.

There’s something special about old movies.
A great deal of sincerity, perhaps. Sure, they might be a little naive at times and not as spectacular as modern ones, but they really touch you. And you don’t forget the plot or how you felt about it after just a couple of days.
I didn’t cry as much watching “The Time Traveler’s Wife” as I did watching “Somewhere in Time.” With “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” I was annoyed that the ending was silly, but I became so invested in these characters that I just feel incredibly sorry for both of them. I feel sorry for Elise, who lived a long, lonely life, and for Richard, who has no hope of reuniting with his love.
The music is stunning. Heartfelt. It adds a touch of sincerity and makes you empathize with the characters even more.
