Now Fred blackmails her, gradually falling in love with his victim, and Helena must follow him to learn about the strange world of “Subway.”

The subway is perhaps the strangest place for a love story. The subway is a place where everyone usually gets tired of the hustle and bustle of the world, and it is here that a beautiful love story unfolds. This makes the film doubly interesting. She is the wife of a rich man, he is a thief who stole her husband's important papers, but not to profit from them, but only for the next meeting, for a reason to see her. To hide from her influential husband's people, he goes to the Paris subway, where colorful, unusual characters live.
A silent drummer, constantly banging on whatever he can find, played by Jean Reno. A man on roller skates who lives by stealing, played by Jean-Yves Anglade. A black bodybuilder of impressive size.
A police captain, played by Richard Bohringer. His character is really very funny. He teases his two subordinates, who are complete simpletons, managing to let the “man on roller skates” slip through their fingers right under their noses.
And finally, Fred himself joins them to form a band. The film is very vivid thanks to the direction and music of Eric Serra. He wrote excellent tracks for this film. He also wrote the music for the James Bond film GoldenEye.
Lambert played the role of an eccentric romantic with an ultra-cool hairstyle, as did his girlfriend in the film, Ajani.
Besson made an immortal film about love in an unusual setting. Perhaps one of the most stylish romantic dramas of the 80s.
