I really wanted to see this movie. The trailer consisted of intriguing, intense, and vivid scenes—a real delight. But the movie is complete nonsense.
So, the main roles are played by Marlon Wayans and Tyrese Ginger. Marlon Wayans plays a hero of a different level. Marlon Wayans captured all the attention in the film, as he played the role of Isaiah White so well. Initially, the character radiates friendliness, but then becomes sinister. The actor's emotions are convincing.
As for Tyrese Witers, who plays the young player Cam, since I have not seen this actor's work before, it is difficult to judge his talent.
The idea for the film initially seems interesting, but the execution leaves much to be desired. You can't make a good movie if it has a raw, vague, and drawn-out script. And the fact that the film features the famous actor Marlon Wayans doesn't make it any more exciting or interesting.
The film has an intriguing premise: a mysterious stranger hits Cam and he gets injured, but this leads nowhere and is not developed in any way.
If the idea behind the film was to show the viewer a world in which people want to become better and are willing to go to great lengths to achieve this, then the idea came across as inexpressive.
The director wanted to capture so much, but as a result, the film looks like a collection of random shots.
The cinematography and editing are strange.
The film is billed as a horror movie, but it is definitely not, although some scenes do contain elements of horror, such as brutal training sessions.
The director failed to hold the viewer's attention, as the film's plot does not develop.
Visually, the film looks interesting and beautiful.
The denouement seems unnatural, as if the hero made it all up.
I honestly started watching with interest, expecting that what I saw in the trailer would begin. The beginning is drawn out, with a chaotic introduction to the characters and a plot that doesn't develop at all.
The whole film feels like waiting for something bright and intriguing. I wanted to see the characters and the plot develop.
Throughout the film, I hoped that it was all the protagonist's imagination, but this twist did not happen.
The only thing I enjoyed in this film was Marlon Wayans, but the actor's performance loses its meaning because the plot does not evoke any feelings and does not create a connection with the characters.
