The film continues the plotline that was so skillfully set up in the first movie. It’s a direct sequel to the first film, in which the main character becomes a werewolf. But, as is typical in all horror movies, she, of course, didn’t die. This is where things really get interesting. Her biological sister attends her funeral to see the “deceased” off on her final journey. The werewolf, of course, comes back to life. Fortunately, a so-called “werewolf hunter”—played by the inimitable Christopher Lee—comes to the rescue.

The werewolf is shot, and that’s when one problem becomes clear: this is just the tip of the iceberg. The hunter offers the rescued woman a chance to join him in the fight against the evil forces, and as a result, the duo sets off for Transylvania—the home of the oldest werewolf clan. But their main problem—aside from the evil forces already tracking them—turns out to be the clan leader: the oldest werewolf, who has taken the form of a beautiful young woman and possesses the secrets of magic.

Will the heroes succeed in destroying the leader and his vast horde of werewolves, or will they fail? That is the film’s central mystery.
