Graveyard of Honor 2002

Ishimatsu washes dishes at a restaurant frequented by the yakuza. When a lone gunman enters the restaurant and starts shooting at the patrons, all the gangsters panic, but Ishimatsu calmly emerges from the kitchen and hits the gunman over the head with a stool. This is his ticket into the world of organized crime. He becomes a ruthless yakuza enforcer, and, thanks to his brutality, begins to climb the ranks. However, it soon becomes clear that Ishimatsu is unable to function within a rigid hierarchy—his strong character and vibrant personality make him irreplaceable, but his lack of respect causes more problems than his fists can solve.
