This movie is dumb as rocks. The plot is nonsensical, the character motivations nonexistent, the macguffin generic as all hell yet it was a pretty fun time.
I don't understand the nitpicks with this movie. The fast and furious movies have all been terribly written and they all defy basic physics, but that's kinda the fun part. This movie was a blast and it doesn't matter that it makes no sense.
Here's what I say: Acknowledge the fact that this franchise makes 0 sense and move past that. Enjoy the dumb action and the dumber dialogue, laugh at/with it, but don't come into it expecting a masterpiece. The F&F creators know exactly what they're doing with these movies, and that's perfectly ok.
