The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter 4K 1990 Ultra HD 2160p
Our young hero (Brandes) clearly doesn't like the real world. He once again immerses himself in the world of books and fantasy, where he can perform feats and live through dangerous but wonderful adventures. This time, he must save the princess. The sequel has more action and fights, which teenagers and children love, as well as some good humor.

I simply couldn't not watch the second part of The Neverending Story. After watching the first part, I was in a state of indescribable delight. And finally, the right moment came... Oh, if only I hadn't known that the second part would turn out to be so weak. To put it simply, I wish I hadn't watched it.
The film started out the same as the first part. (Only the boy had grown up). Then it continued in the same vein. True, then something changed (something didn't change). In short, here's our Bastian in Fantasia.
And immediately, the inferior graphics became noticeable. Some cheap costumes and worn-out sets. And six years have passed since the perfect first part. That is, the sequel not only took a step back in visual terms (by the way, I still don't understand why it is praised; apparently, it's not my business), but completely turned the cart around.
The film brought a lot of disappointment in terms of both plot and dynamics. Ask me what happened in this film, and I'll answer, "Well, something probably happened.
When the film had not yet been condemned (by me), when I had the right to expect something exciting from it, I managed to squeeze something out of it. Kamneev is now raising his baby son. Take Falcor, for example — he hasn't degenerated. He also seems to be on fire, just like in the first part, and doesn't notice that his team (on the set) is losing. Otreyu hasn't changed either (although he wasn't a particularly memorable character for me). What has changed is their participation in this deflating story.
Here, they kind of went further and came up with the Mistress of Nothing. She wants to confuse Bastian by drawing out as many desires from him as possible. To enslave his mind. So that he can no longer do without desires. Yes, Bastian ended up in Fantasia not remotely, but in reality. And his father read the book. Well, that's the whole synopsis. Practically nothing else happened in the film. It's so slow! It's so boring!!!
