The scientist immediately detects alarming signs of an impending catastrophe that threatens to bring about the end of the world. User Review
I liked the film. Dante's Peak is a high-quality, spectacular, and quite interesting disaster movie. I really liked the special effects. Their merit is that you don't see them, but instead believe in what is happening on the screen—everything looks very realistic, convincing, and natural. They don't make movies like this anymore...
I liked the cast and their acting. The duo of Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton looks very convincing and appealing. The script is also good.
In short, this is a high-quality disaster movie from the 90s. I recommend it to fans of the genre.
