Hoppers 4K 2026 Ultra HD 2160p
A 19-year-old animal lover uses technology that places her consciousness into a robotic beaver to uncover mysteries within the animal world beyond her imagination.
User Review
The film is built around the good old concept of hamartia—a flaw in the protagonist’s character that leads to their downfall. Aristotle wrote about this long ago. Nearly two and a half thousand years have passed, but nothing has changed in the world of drama.
The main character, Mabel, passionately loves animals and strives with all her might to save Mother Nature. Her goals are undoubtedly noble, but her methods are quite radical. Even back in school, she tried to steal all the inhabitants of the school’s nature corner and even bit the principal!
Years have passed, Mabel has grown up, and her ambitions have grown with her. When the mayor decides to build a bridge by cutting down part of the forest, the heroine goes on the warpath. It is at this very moment that she learns that scientists have found a way to communicate with wildlife using robots…
Thus begins an epic saga in which Mabel first becomes the leader of the mammals and then nearly unleashes a full-scale war between humans and the animal world. And it’s all because of the heroine’s hot temper—that very same hamartia. Pixar has successfully used this technique before: just think of Lightning McQueen’s arrogance or Marlin’s paranoid control, Nemo’s father. And that’s the right approach—there’s no need to reinvent the wheel if it works perfectly well.
Overall, the film teaches children to love nature and respect the feelings of animals, reminding us that every creature has the right to its own way of life.
It’s very heartening to see good old Pixar back in action. I hope this isn’t just a fluke, but the beginning of a new “golden age” in which the studio has rediscovered its lost magic.
