Jackie Chan is an adventurer and treasure hunter nicknamed “Asian Hawk”. He steals a ritual sword in Africa and puts it up for sale in Europe. The sword, as it turns out, is part of the ancient Armor of God, of which only five pieces have survived. The destruction of the God Armor, according to legend, will lead to the reign of the forces of Evil on Earth. This mystical Evil has its own followers - the servants of a certain cult, who take refuge in a high-mountain impregnable monastery in Europe. These sectarians, disguised as humble monks, sell drugs and are eager to get their hands on all five items, two of which they already have. Three more, including the sword, are held by a major collector. Realizing that only Jackie Chan can get the missing Armor, the minions of the dark forces kidnap Chan's old girlfriend Laura and demand a ransom for her - the very Armor.

Actually writing a review of the movie that won my heart immediately. With this movie it all began. The big Jackie Chan era began.

In fact, Armor of God was the first Jackie Chan movie for me. I think for many, this movie was a sign - ‘This guy will enter my heart forever’.

Let's start with the idea...The idea of the movie is really awesome. The Chinese Indiana Jones takes artifacts (in this case the Armor of God) and sells them, unlike Indiana who gives the treasure to a museum or puts it in his collection.

However, this hero has a heart. He saves from the villains not only his former lover, but also his old friend who separated them from Loralai....

The stunts in the movies are just a separate song...The car chase scene is just amazing. The motorcycle stunts performed by Jackie Chan's stunt team are breathtaking.
The scene in the temple is just great. This is what I understand - a professionally staged fight scene. Everything is done in such a way that you want to stand up and jump like Jackie. In this scene Jackie Chan's team demonstrated their skills 100%.

In this movie, the role was played by Spanish beauty Laura Forner (which we can see in the movie ‘Diner on Wheels’). That's the nice little thing about this movie.....

The soundtrack is also just delightful. I still have many of the songs from this movie in my player to this day.

So, I consider this to be Jackie's best movie. A movie for multiple viewings.
