In a town called “Paradise,” a trailer park loser tries to get unemployment benefits and ends up in a shootout, then attempts to steal a batch of ugly and expensive dolls with the help of his uncle, a guru and messiah of hippie yogaand is forced to fight Taliban militants right in the trailer park.

An incredibly outrageous and at times quite funny comedy, this film adaptation of a computer game features a very crudely inserted anti-American political context and the most disgusting erotic scene in the history of cinema.

Uwe Boll ‘Postal’

When a self-respecting gamer hears the name ‘Uwe Boll’, a malicious grimace usually crosses their face and they feel the urge to punch someone. To understand what Uwe Ball is like as a director, you only need to watch 10 minutes of any of his films (anyone who lasts longer is either a hero or a sadist).

However, the film ‘Postal’ is a completely different story. When you start watching it, a slight smile of bewilderment appears on your face, and then you find yourself laughing non-stop. This film is a vivid response to those who did not consider Uwe a director. Yes, he is a director, but he is only capable of adapting crazy games that are just like him.

If you try to draw parallels, Posters is most reminiscent of what South Park could have become if they had made a feature film out of it. In Post, everything is like in that brilliant series: a sleepy town, idiot characters, terrorists, cults, and, of course, the US government and the “today we learned a lot” moment. It's in the best tradition of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's satire.

For example, the police officer's line after the accident:

Damn, I thought we had a flat tire, but we just hit some chick!

Of course, satire isn't for everyone. The recent story with the 2*2 channel showed that. Therefore, for many, the jokes will be either too obscure or too politically incorrect. This explains why this film was released directly to DVD in our country. As a result, it is not recommended for young children, men, and women with unstable mental health, because the jokes in “Postal” are pure thermonuclear.

And finally, an important note. If you really want to enjoy the film, watch it only in Goblin's uncensored translation. When watching the film in another translation, the essence of some scenes is lost.

If Uwe Boll had stopped making films after this one, he would have been a true masterpiece, but unfortunately, the German “master” has very ambitious creative plans. Therefore, “Postal” became an exception to the rule rather than a good tradition.
