This one had me really torn. I love the original so I was looking forward to this, but eh I dunno. It was ok, but not anything I’d watch again.
I loved the colorful practical effects. That’s the biggest thing I loved about the original and it’s replicated nicely here. There are also some good one liners here and there and there’s even a guy running around waving his (prosthetic) dick at everyone so points there!
But the whole thing just felt cheesy and not in a good way. There’s some weird blue monster that only certain people can see and he constantly breaks the 4th wall for terrible comic relief and every time it was just super cringe. Like I couldn’t believe it kept happening every single time it did. Choices!
