The Last Boy Scout 4K 1991 Ultra HD 2160p

I thoroughly enjoyed both Bruce himself and the movie as a whole. Bruce is, of course, one of a kind, but he’s not the only reason this movie is great—even though his catchphrases and charisma stick in your mind, he’s excellent both in his acting and in his overall portrayal in this film.

Tony Scott managed to strike an excellent balance between the comedy-action and the dramatic moments in the film. I wouldn’t say there are a lot of them, but they’re memorable—take, for example, Jimmy Dix’s story about his son who fell asleep. The pain was palpable not only in his words but in every glance he cast. It was dramatic—very dramatic, in fact. Despite the film’s comedic elements, it strikes a balance between humorous and serious moments.

I really liked the film’s cast, which—in addition to Bruce—included Damon Wayans, a young Halle Berry, and Noble Willingham, who surprised me in an unusual role; I’d always associated him with the TV series “Walker, Texas Ranger,” but here he plays such a different character—and he pulls it off very coolly.

The duo of Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans turned out to be really cool. They didn’t click right away, but the more you watch them together, the more you enjoy their dynamic and the situations they find themselves in. And the scene at Joe’s house was definitely the most memorable.

I’ll highlight Shane Black’s screenplay. It was a lot of fun and hilarious to watch the characters, and one of the reasons is Shane’s very interesting and funny screenplay. The dialogue is very impressive.

Bruce Willis. Joe Hallenbeck is another cool character that suits Bruce perfectly. He has a complicated personality—he argues with everyone—and he does it in a very entertaining and humorous way. His one-liners really highlight Bruce’s own style. It was a blast to watch, and at times it was absolutely hilarious. Bruce entertained with his dialogue and monologues, and he was a master with a gun, taking down the mafia in some truly interesting ways. And, I’ll say it again, the partnership with Damon turned out to be really cool.

Damon Wayans. I also liked Jimmy Dix right away—especially in the scenes where he was with Cory. Sure, there weren’t many of them, but they’re memorable too. They looked interesting together. He was fun to watch as well; he plays his character perfectly.

Noble Willingham. Sheldon Markoun is essentially the main antagonist of this film. Noble perfectly portrayed a scoundrel for whom taking a life is like going for a walk. He has no compassion and no principles. All he cares about is his business. I really liked his smirk during tense moments.
