A luxurious mystical thriller with an excellent cast (Of all the cast, it is especially worth highlighting Keanu Reeves, who played a rare for his film career villain and how he played. It's a pity that directors do not spare this actor worthy roles of villains). Billy Bob Thornton proved that he is not only a fine actor, but the Oscar he received for writing the script is not accidental.

Strong directing by Sam Raimi, as always at the proper level (And it is not clear for what he began to shoot comics about Spider-Man). But the most important advantage of the film is the camerawork. The forest shown by the operator is really mysterious and beautiful, and, without hesitation, overplaying all the participants of the picture.

Such films are worth watching. And after watching it one does not feel sorry for the time spent.
