Storyline
Frank is a retired Lt. Col. in the US Army. He's blind and impossible to get along with. Charlie is at school and is looking forward to going to university; to help pay for a trip home for Christmas, he agrees to look after Frank over Thanksgiving. Frank's niece says this will be easy money, but she didn't reckon on Frank spending his Thanksgiving in New York.

The first thing I thought about when watching this picture was that this movie should be shown to all young men and women growing up more than once.

It's a story of two opposites.

Frank, a military man, tired of life cynic with a desire to have a little fun before putting a bullet in his forehead, and Charlie, a young, modest and indecisive young man who faces a choice: conscience or a promising future.

We can endlessly discuss the contradictions of the main characters, but only one thing is clear - this movie is a lesson, it teaches us to distinguish honesty from honor and that justice should always be put above title and money, because 'there is nothing more terrible than a man without a soul. There's no such thing as a prosthetic soul.'

Does this movie make sense? Definitely yes. What's the point of this movie? Probably the one you're looking for when you watch it.
