Shane and June Brown are not just newlyweds on their honeymoon in Paris. Shane is a deeply unhappy man. He is trying to track down Dr. Leo Semenya, with whom he conducted scientific experiments on human libido in Genoa several years ago. Leo's wife, Kore, has also fallen victim to these horrific experiments. Torn between common sense and the dark side of her personality, she is desperate to satisfy her terrible hunger.

While Shane is looking for Leo, Leo is busy searching for his wife, who has escaped from confinement in their home. Shane is the first to find her covered in blood, sprawled over the lifeless body of a young neighbor. He puts her out of her misery.

June tries to understand her husband, to somehow explain his strange behavior. She has her suspicions, but before June can uncover his terrible secret, they pack their bags and head back home.

The bloody body of the maid remains in the hotel...

The title of the film is steeped in the absolute truth. With a touch of sarcasm. Everyone has their own problems. Troubles.

I love beautiful people (compliment to Vincent Gallo). I love exciting films. If you combine these two components, you get Trouble Every Day, a film with the makings of a quality art house film. It is not aimed at a mass audience at all. It is a film on the edge. If the director had crossed the line, it would have turned out to be a boring picture with flashes of minimal madness. But Claire Denis walked a fine line and ultimately gave the world an interesting, sometimes exciting film.

What's the problem? Love? Shane cherishes his June so much that he is willing to make sacrifices just to keep his young wife safe. Or is it lust that drives the protagonist's mind?
