Undisputed 4K 2002 Ultra HD 2160p

Boxing superstar and heavyweight George “Ice Man” Chambers is sentenced to three years in prison on rape charges. He will serve his sentence at Sweetwater Prison, notorious for its harsh conditions, but the boxer is ready for any challenge. Or so he thought, until he found out that there is a champion behind bars, Monroe Hutchens, who has not been defeated in 10 years. Chambers, unaccustomed to being second best, challenges for the title of king of the prison ring. News of the possibility of an incredible fight immediately spreads throughout the prison community, and local “bookmakers” rush to take advantage of this to make a killing. Now all that remains is to organize a fair fight and find out who the real champion is.

The film is a real page-turner...

The first positive impressions are, of course, made by the actors Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames, who played their roles brilliantly, and the prison in this film is shown very realistically. And, of course, the boxing scenes are very enjoyable—the fights are quite realistic, unlike in many modern films. The film reveals the deep philosophy of both fighters and how each tries to prove that he is “Undisputed.” In my opinion, this is one of the most successful films of the 21st century about prison fights.

As for viewing by “persons under 18,” in my opinion, the film is not so violent as to traumatize viewers in this age group. Overall, the film totally lived up to my expectations.
