Your Name. 4K 2016
Your Name is one of those films that leaves you feeling like "something inside you has changed a little." Beautiful animation, a very human story, and a powerful plot twist make it one of the most memorable contemporary anime films. In the 4K version, everything looks especially vivid and atmospheric — an excellent choice if you want both a beautiful spectacle and a heartfelt film.

This is a beautiful and touching story about teenagers who seem to be connected by an invisible thread. Taki lives in Tokyo and Mitsuku lives in a small town in the mountains. One day they suddenly start waking up in each other's bodies in a dream: he turns out to be her, she him, and so they live strangers' days. At first it looks funny and strange, but in time a warm, almost obvious bond develops between them.
Then everything changes abruptly: the exchange of bodies stops, and Taki realizes that he can't find Mitsuku. He decides to get to her city at all costs, though he doesn't know if he'll make it in time when it could all be too late. The film cleverly mixes romance, light humor, and a very tense plot shift - it's no longer just “funny mixed-up bodies,” but a story about the importance of reaching out to someone before you lose them.
Watching in 4K is particularly enjoyable here: the sky, cityscapes, the interior of the house - everything looks like a beautiful painting. Animation is smooth, colors are bright, and RADWIMPS soundtrack perfectly emphasizes both funny and sad moments
