Ginger Snaps 4K 2000 Ultra HD 2160p

Sixteen-year-old Ginger and her younger sister Bridget are two “goth” sisters obsessed with death and everything related to it. They love filming horror movies with their camcorder, mercilessly using up huge amounts of red paint. One night, during one of their late-night outings, Ginger is attacked by some kind of monster. Bridget helps her hide the bite marks from their parents. To the sisters’ surprise, the wounds heal quickly, but when strange changes begin to happen to Ginger, the girls realize that their troubles are just beginning.

A movie from 2000. I was still a kid when I first saw it. Totally “young and inexperienced.” Well, what were special effects like back then? Everything was practical. Puppets and people in costumes. Though for that time, it was all good, and I liked it. But time has passed, and a lot has changed, right?

I’ve grown up now. I don’t watch movies like that anymore. So what? You’d think this movie would be long gone by now, but no. Yesterday I happened to stumble upon an evening showing on TV and was simply thrilled. Amazing! No disappointment at all, despite that “scary doll.” That’s probably the only flaw the movie has now. The film draws me in like a magnet.

A childhood memory. Once I see a scene, I can’t look away. It’s all thanks to the wonderful actresses: Emily Perkins and Catherine Isabelle. They’re delightful. It’s both of them. There’s no sense here that one actress overacted and overshadowed the other. They’re magnificent, each in her own way, and they’re on equal footing.
The best film in the werewolf series.

I definitely want to watch the whole trilogy. Oh, what a bold statement. I didn’t even know there were three of them.
