A former member of a group of killers - Black Mamba decided to start a new life. She marries her fiancé and is about to give birth, but suddenly at the wedding everyone is killed by the same killers with whom the bride was once in the same team. She tells Bill, the leader of the hitmen, that the baby is his, but he shoots her ex-lover in the head because of her broken heart. However, Black Mamba survives and begins her journey of revenge.

Quentin Tarantino's movies I personally can't call perfect to my taste. I'm not a big fan of cultural entanglements, omages to the best movies of different genres and anachronistic camerawork. But my tastes matter little in this case, because the visual excellence of this movie I will not dispute. I'm not a fan, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying and taking note of the quality of the atmosphere created. Watching 'Kill Bill' you won't be oblivious and completely immersed in the drama - you'll enjoy the style. After all, 'Kill Bill' is a very stylish movie, a very entertaining movie. The music is very well chosen, as it always is with Tarantino.

This movie is very dynamic. 'Kill Bill' is a movie of impression, not experience. Because of this, the plot is rather weak, but it doesn't lose its interest because of the fast paced action. Since it is only one part out of two, there was no plot denouement to look forward to. Half of the movie Uma Thurman slices Japanese mobsters into sausage. The drama of the protagonist is presented in a very controversial way, as all empathy goes away with the realization that the protagonist was, at the very least, hypocritical towards her fiancé. In addition, the charismatic villains and vulgar cruelty bring the drama to the point of absurdity. I don't feel like crying at all, and I could have cried, as I usually do. But the movie 'Kill Bill' was never intended to be tearful, it was created solely for tasteful entertainment.

The elaboration of the characters is pleasing. It is quite detailed for Tarantino's films, which used to rely on vivid images as sources of dialog about nothing. The images and the acting are as good as they come. However, the sympathetic ones to my heart are not there at all. One can only compliment the protagonist for her beauty.

Anime fans will love it because the whole movie is an omage to the genre. However, for me, this movie is just a good action movie and a prequel to the second part.
