The Big Heat 4K 1988 Ultra HD 2160p
Inspector Waipong Wong has to put his life and resignation from the Hong Kong police department on hold to investigate his former partner's mysterious murder. What he and his crack team of three other cops uncover is a plot far more sinister than they originally anticipated.

Hong Kong. The port. A portrait of Lenin. Mafia boss Ching Han, who allows himself to behave extremely harshly toward the police. And all this is opposed by one small police unit.
Chief Inspector Wong is experiencing problems. He has neuropathy in his hand, which could cost him his life because it hinders his ability to shoot. He is deeply affected by the death of his comrade. But Wong does not want to show this to those around him.
His colleague, Inspector Lo, on the other hand, is eager to change everything for the better. Together with their comrades, they will stage a real “cook-up.” It will be hot. But there will also be casualties.
Unlike Hollywood action movies of those years, everything in the film happens incredibly fast. Events follow one after another, and the characters move quickly. What's missing here is some good rave music. It would complement and enhance the drive.
Instead, there will be tragic and heroic moments. A funeral, a flying cross with a chain in unison with a gunshot, explosions, and car ramming. Here, you just need to accept the style and allow for a not-too-spectacular staging. The film cannot compete with Hollywood productions in terms of technical indicators. But it captivates in other ways: with adrenaline, drive, momentum, and a certain sincerity. That is why the parallels with John Woo's best films are justified.
