Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings 4K 2011 Ultra HD 2160p

Follows a group of friends that decide to go snowmobiling during break. They make a "wrong turn", getting lost in a storm, and seek shelter in an abandoned sanatorium. They are completely isolated by the storm and are thankful they can get out of the elements. But the sanatorium has a troubled past, and some of its former patients still reside there and are not happy about the intrusions. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, the college kids must fight to survive the night.

‘Turnaround’ is a fairly long-running franchise, which currently has six parts. It should be noted that the saga has included both very good films and incredibly weak ones, which I would personally classify as part five.

“The Bloody Beginning” turned out to be quite solid and in the best traditions of the series. Many fans of “Wrong Turn” pointed out that Declan O'Brien, when he was too lazy to think about the plot, simply inserted love scenes, and it's hard to argue with that, but the vast majority of slashers are guilty of this, and what's more, in Twists and Turns, they are, in principle, not bad.

The plot is very interesting, and if you watch it chronologically, this part shows us the backstory of the three brothers (Three-Fingered, Sawtooth, and One-Eyed). This story begins in a mental hospital, where (according to the doctors) the most dangerous murderers in the United States were being held. Of course, the brothers are freed after destroying the medical facility, and then... Then the viewer is transported to the present day, where a group of students are preparing to have some fun skiing and snowboarding in the mountains. During a snowstorm, they find themselves in the very hospital where it all began.

The actors are very good. They are classically inexperienced and young guys who are taking their first steps in cinema. If we look at it in detail, the main character is probably Jennifer Pudavic, and the young girl did a great job with her role. Of course, the actors don't show anything special, and probably few people will remember them in other roles when watching a movie a long time later.

The brothers (who are quite well made up, by the way) look quite convincing on screen, but their taciturnity makes it impossible to say anything about their acting.

The atmosphere in the film is not bad, and the viewer can expect many unexpected plot twists, including at the very end.
