Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort 4K 2014 Ultra HD 2160p

In search of a sudden and mysterious inheritance, Danny and his friends find themselves in Hobbs Springs, an abandoned resort in the mountains of West Virginia. Danny soon learns that his relatives, whom he never knew, led a rather strange lifestyle based on cannibalism. Danny will have to choose between his friends and his relatives.

Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort (2014) ditches the forest survival horror of the original and trades it for a sleazy, low-budget resort slasher. The result is a film that feels more like a cheap exploitation flick than a genuine horror entry heavy on nudity, light on actual scares.

The acting is forgettable, the kills lack creativity, and the storyline about a surprise inheritance feels like a weak excuse to get characters into one location. The cannibalistic hillbilly villains once genuinely menacing are reduced to background props.

If you're a completionist working through the franchise, it's watchable. Otherwise, there's no reason to visit this particular resort.
