Storyline
Teenager Riley's mind headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who've long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren't sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she's not alone.

I watched the first Inside Out in my 20s. And I think that's an oversight. Even if I was a teenager, but you should watch it as early as possible, because it is one more voice that tells you that your emotions, feelings are not bad, they are you, and you can love and respect yourself.
And so, finally we have waited for part 2. In this part we are shown that a person is shaped not only by his emotions in the moment, but also by something stronger, something more serious - beliefs, whose basis are, of course, memories and thoughts (and these, as we know, are influenced by our friends-emotions). Thus, the cartoon shows that not everything is as simple as it was shown in Part 1.
I think this cartoon perfectly conveys how our psyche works, how our self works. Being a person with high anxiety and often arriving under stress and periodic Panic Attacks, I can say that yes, the cartoon showed it all too well. The character Anxiety is incredible and what was happening to him, that even he himself went 'out of his mind' for himself is how it really works.
For me, the very strongest and most profound moment was of course the culmination of all the accumulated emotions on the last (of the shown) game. More specifically, how the heroine started to struggle with it, and what she came to. We weren't shown how that game ended - and that's fine! Why? Because Riley chose to rejoice in the moment. I call it the dead wife effect. You know, those flashbacks about rejoicing in the moment. It's a method of overcoming stress, of shifting the focus to what's going on around you, of getting positive emotions just from what's going on, from your surroundings just at that moment in time. And it was very powerful, it makes you shed a tear.
I think that this series of cartoons can be called a must-see for children. And especially this part, because this part shows even better that emotions are not something mystical and magical, they are something that can and should be learned to cope with, and that it is not bad, not ashamed, and that even the most unpleasant emotions are worth living.
