Storyline
Air America was the CIA's private airline operating in Laos during the Vietnam War, running anything and everything from soldiers to foodstuffs for local villagers. After losing his pilot's license, Billy Covington is recruited into it, and ends up in the middle of a bunch of lunatic pilots, gun-running by his friend Gene Ryack, and opium smuggling by his own superiors.

Crazy movie, from the first to the last minutes!
A story about young and not so young con artists, people who can't live without risk and dubious ventures, 'Live life to the fullest' - that's their motto, if blood doesn't boil, what kind of life is it!
One big accident, not a second of peace, constant crashes, shootings, jokes in extreme conditions, pranks, scamming on an industrial scale, cheating and despite all this the movie has its own special philosophy and charm. It can make you reconsider your views on life, actions of other people, what you couldn't understand before, will probably make sense. The movie can help to answer such questions as: Why is war necessary? How long should it last? How should it be financed? What should be done during a war? How should one answer questions that would answer and yet not explain anything? Who's the worst offender? And who will pay the price, gentlemen? What is a dream and how to achieve it?
The cast is wonderful, starting with the main characters Mel Gibson - Braveheart and Robert Downey Jr. - Kiss Kiss, the secondary Ken Jenkins - the series Clinic and Nancy Travis - Chaplin, there are other colorful actors whose game is worth watching, they all did a great job, I will not describe the characters, see for yourself and give an assessment.
Adventurous comedy, will not let you get bored, will help to lift your spirits, will leave a pleasant memory ...
