I do not likeAn accurate and candid, almost cynical account of the sexual adventures and experiences of two American men over two decades of their lives. It all begins with two college students (Nicholson and Garfunkel) in the late 1940s living in a dorm room and sharing a blonde neighbor (Bergen). The film then follows their subsequent lives. It's very interesting and informative. Ann-Margret was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Unfortunately, the film has been dogged by a trail of ‘scandal’, ‘audacity’ and so on and so forth - from a time when society began to rapidly abandon its puritanical values. As a result, people failed to see the forest for the trees - and many still cannot. And the forest is dark, littered with windfall—in short, a metaphor for life and relationships between people. Only in some hypercritical frenzy can one find traces of comedy here.
In fact, it is an excellent and compelling drama that remains relevant to this day, when all the nonsense and husks have fallen away from the picture.
