Lord of Illusions 4K 1995 Director's Cut Ultra HD 2160p
Mojave Desert, 1982. The wizard Swan kills his teacher Nix, who kidnapped his beloved twelve-year-old girl to force his most talented student to stay with him and not abandon his studies. Thirteen years later, a private detective from New York with a special gift for fighting all kinds of evil helps Swan and the same girl, now grown up and his wife, fight the sorcerer-teacher, who has been resurrected from the dead by one of his other most talented students. The teacher, in his own words, wanted to become a god, but changed his mind, deciding instead to simply destroy our world. He was unhappy in the darkness of the grave, but life was even worse. After destroying the world with Swann's help, Nix then planned to remain with him in the darkness, after first killing him.

Lord of Illusions is the third film written and directed by Clive Barker. And I believe it is every bit as good as the previous two. This film has an unpredictable ending and an interesting plot. Everything in the film is based on magic, illusion, and mystification.
I recommend it to all fans of the film The Prestige and the work of Copperfield. The film also features an unusual arrangement of Perry Como's song Magic Moments.
Now for the flaws. I think the most serious one is the beginning of the film. It's quite confusing and somewhat off-putting. Although, that's just my opinion.
Overall, the film turned out to be quite interesting, with an original plot and an interesting presentation that make it quite intriguing to watch.
