User Review
Why should you watch this old, forgotten film? First, the beautiful actress Elizabeth Shue plays the lead role in this unpretentious horror film. In this film, she is young and wonderful. It's always nice to see your favorite actresses in their youth. She performed well in this film, and her acting is undoubtedly pleasing to the eye. Secondly, this film reveals many interesting facts about chimpanzees that most people are likely unaware of. The film also features intriguing and amusing scenes with chimpanzees and orangutans that deserve the viewer's attention. Thirdly, the orangutan named Link, who is the protagonist of this film, is truly extremely intelligent and quick-witted. I am sure that he will leave every viewer of this film feeling enthusiastic. And finally, fourthly, the film shows beautiful, picturesque places and wonderful shots of the raging sea.
We see how the main character comes to work at the professor's house and takes care of some very intelligent chimpanzees, but it all ends badly, because the oldest, smartest, and most cunning orangutan named Link has come up with a terrifying plan, and every day new victims appear on his list...
The script is simple, but everything is thought out and interesting. The film “Link” is not a cinematic masterpiece, but even after 27 years, you can still watch it and enjoy it. I wouldn't dare recommend it to everyone, because it's a film for connoisseurs, but personally, I don't regret watching this horror film.
