A Bay of Blood 4K 1971 Ultra HD 2160p
Blood Bay is a slasher film about teenagers who unfortunately find themselves in an abandoned building with a maniac on the loose.
The gloomy mood that heightens the suspense on screen, the inventive cinematography, and the staging of the murders made Blood Bay one of Bava's most notable directorial achievements and paved the way for slasher films. Many episodes of this film would later be reproduced in Friday the 13th, in some cases even frame by frame.
User Review
It's not a bad movie in principle, but its flaw is that when all the characters are known from the outset, it's easy to guess who the killer is.
Another thing is that every other character is a killer, which doesn't confuse the viewer but puts them in a state of some kind of trashy chaos where “the bad guy kills the good guy, the good guy kills the bad guy,” and so on. ..
The plot is rather primitive, and it remains a mystery why they all gave up on that remote bay, or maybe I'm just too lazy to think through that line.
The scenes of violence are cheap, and they are only effective in the moments when the action takes place, meaning you won't see anything memorable.
I won't recommend the film, but if, like me, you simply love or are interested in old horror films, so to speak, from the roots, you can watch it...
