Salem's Lot 4K 1979 Ultra HD 2160p
The town of Salem is known to most people primarily for the “Salem witch trials.” Stephen King set his novel in a gloomy mansion in the town of Salem's Lot, and the locals believe that the souls of the dead linger there. Bloodthirsty vampires from an ancient, degenerate lineage are about to emerge from the house. Meanwhile, a successful writer (Soul) returns there, and soon strange things begin to happen…
User Review
“Salem's Lot” is simply one of the best vampire movies ever made. Yes, it's old, and the special effects are dated. But the atmosphere is incredible! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 10. It's an excellent film. Even the special effects—which seem basic by today's standards—make the movie plenty scary. Plus, the plot unfolds very clearly, without any jumps or confusion. It’s a very interesting movie. I recommend it to everyone. And I’d advise those making movies today to learn a thing or two by watching how this and similar old films were made. Special effects that cost millions are becoming less and less useful these days, with rare exceptions, because they’re not interesting to watch at all—there’s no plot. Today’s movies very often feel like a collection of stunts and scripted lines, nothing more. So this movie is great—everyone should watch it!
