The African Queen 4K 1951 Ultra HD 2160p
The action takes place at the beginning of the First World War. The German colonies in East Africa receive the news that Germany has entered the war, and the colonists immediately burn down the English mission. The priest in charge of the mission dies, and for his sister (Hepburn), the only way home is the river and the mail boat “The English Queen” commanded by scowling Charlie Allnut (Bogart). However, the prim English lady wants not only to escape, but also to take revenge and serve her native England. Fate will give her such an opportunity - the way home to the heroes is blocked by a German battleship.
Adventure, humor, picturesque, exotic landscapes and love. And also “Oscar” for Humphrey Bogart - the only one in the career of a great actor. Screen adaptation of the novel by C. С. Forester.

The fact that the movie was made fifty years ago is frightening. But lately, especially after the long-awaited acquaintance with Akira Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai', I've become more and more convinced that movies used to be made just as well. And the main thing - now the movies are made no better.
'On the Western Front Without Change' is a perfect example. A very old movie, but has not lost anything over the years. But in this case it's much easier. The film is in color and technically, in my opinion, perfect and more than that - worthy of all respect. The movie is bright, it will rub the nose of all kinds of projects about wildlife. Africa is worthily represented not only in the title.
If you were fond of Jules Verne's novels as a child, you will appreciate the 'popular mechanics' presented in the movie. I was personally fascinated by the steam-powered 'heart' of the barque, the title character of the movie.
