Tron 4K 1982 Ultra HD 2160p
Storyline
Hacker/arcade owner Kevin Flynn is digitally broken down into a data stream by a villainous software pirate known as Master Control and reconstituted into the internal, 3-D graphical world of computers. It is there, in the ultimate blazingly colorful, geometrically intense landscapes of cyberspace, that Flynn joins forces with Tron to outmaneuver the Master Control Program that holds them captive in the equivalent of a gigantic, infinitely challenging computer game.
User Review
I am always wary of “classic” films. Quite often, a film that seemed revolutionary at the time is now impossible to watch without laughing through tears. But Tron pleasantly surprised me.
First of all, I was surprised by the very decent special effects. I did not expect to see 3D graphics of this level in a 1982 film. But the graphics are not the point. The film is really interesting to watch—it has intrigue, drama, and the action is also quite good. Yes, it seems a little naive now, but that's not annoying at all. For example, the recent Gamer, which I watched right before Tron, looks much sillier.
The verdict is that it's a living classic that will remain alive for a very long time.
