Ignacio is a young man who was raised in a monastery in Mexico and works there as a cook. Following his childhood dream, he puts on a mask and cape, takes the pseudonym Nacho, finds a partner, and goes to a local wrestling competition in hopes of winning the grand prize of $200. In this way, he hopes to save the orphanage from ruin, feed the children delicious food, and earn everyone's respect.

When a new nun, Sister Encarnación, arrives at the monastery, Nacho tries to win her heart and prove to her that being a luchador (Mexican wrestler) is not a sin. To do this, he decides to win the grand prize in the royal battle and use the winnings to buy a bus for the children.

An exceptionally cheerful, lively, and funny comedy about a super monk—a wrestler who fights for the well-being of his own monastery. The film doesn't force anything on you or make you tense. You just watch and laugh at the characters' silly antics. All the humor in the film puts you in a good mood. You are unlikely to forget the characters after watching the film.

The actors are perfectly cast. All the actors perform very well. Jack Black, in the role of Nacho Libre, will make you smile more than once. And what about Skeleto, the main character's loyal friend and assistant?

It's a lot of fun to watch. But you won't be bored outside the ring either.

Nacho Libre is a funny, light-hearted, kind, and meaningful comedy with an unusual plot, which I recommend everyone watch.
