User Review
Gregg Araki's I Want Your Sex (2026) is a sharp, edgy dark comedy that dives headfirst into power dynamics, artistic ambition, and mutual exploitation. Following a naive young employee who becomes entangled in a provocative dynamic with his artist boss, the film thrives on its dark humor and campy satire. Olivia Wilde delivers a bold, magnetic performance as the manipulative boss, while Cooper Hoffman plays the naive counterpart with great comedic timing. The chemistry between the leads keeps the viewing experience lively and fun. However, the film struggles at its core: the underlying logic of the plot and character motivations often feel weak and inconsistent, trading believable story progression for shock value. While it offers a unique, entertaining ride for fans of unconventional dark satire, its polarising tone and shaky logic mean it certainly won't be for everyone.
