SexWorld (1978) turned out to be a much more thoughtful film than one might expect from adult cinema of that time. A fantasy resort for fulfilling sexual desires serves as a backdrop for a small gallery of human complexes: racism, insecurity, marital coldness, and loneliness, which the characters try to live through their fantasies.

Despite its explicit content, the film is carried by its characters, dialogue, and the unusual structure of several parallel stories, which is why it is often called one of the pinnacles of the "golden age" of adult cinema. For those interested in the style of the 70s and wanting to see how seriously the genre was sometimes approached back then, this is a strangely cozy, atmospheric, and at times unexpectedly warm film.
