Has anyone ever wondered why the movie is called that???? Basically, what is a faculty? It's a collection of people with a common interest. And the characters in the beginning of the movie were completely distant from each other.

Well, what can be in common with the captain of the school soccer team, a nerd, a pseudo-lesbian, with her head gone into the world of fantasy books, with a beautiful and successful editor of the school newspaper, with a cynical guy with a great intellect and a cool car full of drugs???? Exactly, nothing. They're distant from each other, and from society, lonely.

And what a great bond they have when there's a real alien threat from the outside. That's it: a gathering of people of interest. And let's remember the end: they're together, happy, in love and smiling! Wow, it was necessary to organize an alien attack on Earth, so that these guys finally looked around, evaluated each other not by appearance, which often gives a wrong opinion, but by inner qualities, by individuality!!!!
